Moreover, follow the steps below to reset your washer and get it working again. However, with this procedure, all Whirlpool Cabrio Washers starting with model number WTW can be reset.

 

How To Reset Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum Washer:

 

  1. Turn off the washer.
  2. Select NORMAL on the mode selector dial.
  3. The dial should be turned counterclockwise ONE click (LEFT), clockwise THREE clicks (RIGHT), counterclockwise ONE click (LEFT), then clockwise ONE click (RIGHT).
  4. Press the start button.
  5. The cycle indicating lights should all be illuminated.
  6. Click the Start-Stop button once.
  7. Rotate the dial until the Rinse, Wash, and Stop lights illuminate.
  8. Unplug the washer for 10 seconds and turn it off.
  9. The washer should now be reset after you turn it on.
  10. Make sure the reset worked by running a test load empty. If not, repeat the reset procedure.
